How To Install The Gab Mobile App

Get the Gab App on your mobile device.
Gab is banned from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store for refusing to censor speech.  
How to install your mobile app:

For Android:
  1. Launch “Chrome” app or your default browser.
  2. Search for gab.com and open the site
  3. Tap the menu icon (3 dots in the corner) and tap "Add to Home Screen.
    * On newer browser versions, there may now be an Install on Home Screen option on the bottom bar.  
       If so, click that and then find it on your Home Screen.
  4. You'll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Chrome will add it to your home screen.
  5. Open the Gab app from your home screen.
  6. Site settings for gab.com can be found with a long press on the mobile icon.   For example, sound, microphone or autoplay site options.
For iOS Safari:
  1. Launch “Safari” app
  2. Search for and open Gab.com
  3. Tap the share symbol, scroll down the menu, then tap "Add to Homescreen."
  4. You'll be able to enter a name for the shortcut and then Safari will add the Gab app to your home screen.
  5. Safari browsers only on iOS
For Samsung Internet
Your default browser may be the Samsung Internet Browser if you’re using a Samsung device. There is a slight difference from Google Chrome, depending on the browser’s style.

  1. Go to the website gab.com on Samsung Internet.
  2. Tap the Hamburger icon (3 lines) at the bottom right corner of the screen. The menu options will appear.
  3. From the menu, select the Add page to button.
  4. Choose Home Screen.
  5. Then, tap Add to finish.

*Older versions of Safari may not have this feature.
*If you're using iOS with a browser like Brave, please follow the Android instructions above.
Edge, Chromebook or laptop?
Find the symbol in your url bar to install the shortcut.
or... look in the browser's Menu for 'Settings' > 'Create shortcut'

FireFox and it's derivitives
Currently FireFox doesn't support PWA / progressive web app funcionality.
